Purpose
Due for introduction in 2004, the new digital tachograph will directly affect approximately 7 million drivers and a further 16 million support workers and managers in both the passenger and freight transport sectors The purpose of this independent work is to get the views of the industry on the new digital tachograph - before it is introduced. There is a short questionnaire that can be completed. It does not matter if you are a driver, a manager, a manufacturer - your views are important. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions. You can fill in the questionnaire anonymously, or simply request more information without filling in the questionnaire. Thank you for helping.

Research Results
Research was conducted in 2001 using questionnaires, the internet, exhibitions etc. The results of the research are contained in a report "Research And Developing Awareness Of Digital Tachographs In The European Community".
